This is some very cool technology. Blaise created software which makes it easy for an ordinary computer to manipulate huge amounts of visual data. Here's a film I took that gives an idea of the responsiveness and detail:

My first blog post at Vox. Just had a great four-day mind-blowing experience at TED. One of the highlights for me, frankly, was welcoming my friend Jeff Skoll to his first TED. While we were there, a fantastic photographer -- Art Streiber -- captured us chatting right after we saw each other for the very first time, at Google's pre-TED party.
Jeff and I probably haven't been photographed together since the eBay days, so it was fun to pose for a couple of pictures. Many more portraits Art took are at the TED2007 Portrait Gallery. I am eagerly awaiting the email I was promised to be able to order some hi-resolution prints...
